This sweet mini basket is meant to hold your dreams and wishes for tomorrow, or more practically any small items you wish to store in this little, attractive unique vessel to gift, or keep. This class offers the opportunity to try your hand at weaving on a smaller scale, while customizing the basket color with a selection of pre-dyed reed. No two wish baskets are ever the same!
Weaving this piece is more challenging than it appears, but suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced weavers. Students should wear clothing that can get stained and bring an old towel to class. Some staining of the fingers and hands may occur when working with dyed reed.
Participants may bring thin vinyl gloves to protect hands from staining if desired. Participants should expect to complete the project in 1 session.
All quality materials included.
Suitable for ages 14 and up.
