Mixed Level Hand-building and Wheel-Throwing Wednesdays with Lisa Bresler- 10 weeks!
If you are just beginning your journey in pottery, or if you have some experience and want to learn more while you work independently, then join artist, Lisa Bresler on Wednesdays and get ready to create! During these 10-weeks you will learn new pottery skills, refine your techniques, and create beautiful ceramics with as much instruction as you need. Focus will be mostly on wheel throwing, but for those that prefer hand-building you will have all the support you need! At the CVU ceramics studio, we offer and welcome a fun and judgement-free collaborative environment for potters of all levels. Only 10 spots available!Students will have access to stoneware, mid-fire clay, Cone 6. All clay, glazes (brushed and dipped), use of the studio, tools, as well as firing costs are included in the fee. NOTE: Only the provided glazes and clay are allowed in the studio.BONUS: Free access to "Open Studio" on Monday evenings 5pm-8pm starting Sept 29-Jan 5. No open studio on 11/24 or 12/29. Recommended minimum age: High School.

Watercolor Studio with Ginny Joyner
During these 14 sessions (35 hours!), Ginny will supervise this studio style class and help you master your watercolor techniques! Improve your color palette and brush techniques as you work on more challenging class projects as well as your own projects. Each 2.5 hour session will take place in the visual art space at CVU. This course is designed for artists who have taken watercolor classes previously and are comfortable working independently. Some guided instruction and supervision will be available as you progress throughout this course. This is also great class to connect, gather and learn from other watercolor enthusiasts within our artistic community. Yoga Flow for Strength and Balance
Find your strength, balance, and calm. Join Jane for an accessible, fun, energizing yoga flow that builds strength, develops balance, and brings students out of their daily grind and into their true nature of goodness. We’ll get the heart rate up with vigor and then wind down, relax, and release tension in a class designed to make you feel better than when you came in the door. Each class features a unique, relatable theme based on insights from the yoga tradition. You’ll feel better physically and enjoy a calming theme you can contemplate and enjoy all week. Suitable for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. Participants should be comfortable sitting on and getting up from the floor. Bring your mat and water bottle, as well as blocks and strap if needed. We will have some yoga mats and blocks available to borrow.

Zumba with Dillon!
Zumba takes the "work" out of workout by bringing a dance party to your fitness routine. High and low-intensity calorie-burning moves that focus on cardio, muscle toning and balance will be a focus. Expect a blend of Latin, hip-hop and African rhythms that guarantee tons of fun. Stylistic and fitness variations make this class accessible for participants of all abilities and ages. No dance experience is necessary, just your enthusiasm! See you on the dance floor! Bring a water bottle and small towel, and wear comfortable clothing and shoes. "Zumba with Dillon offers a fun cardio experience with some strength and stability woven in. I appreciate that there are lots of access points for a wide range of fitness and dance / style levels. Dillon is a pro!" "Dillon is a really fun and energetic instructor, and a great dancer, too! The music is fabulous, and he swaps out a song or two periodically (even had a cool Halloween mix!), which keep class interesting. He offers options during the class for low and high impact, too. Rest & Rejuvenate Yoga with Heather
Join Heather for a four week series, exploring yoga asana (postures), breathing, and meditation. This class will feature asana to warm you up, with breathing exercises throughout to improve clarity, we will end with a short meditation to help you clear your mind and feel ready for your next day. Feel good in body, mind, and spirit! Give yourself the gift of yoga breathing, movement and meditation as we shift and settle into a New Year. This class is suitable for all levels.
