Having a hybrid approach is beneficial and Cinzia will explain her philosophy in this regard. Not sure what level of Italian you are at? No problem! Sign-up and decide after the first class if this will meet your needs. This is an online class. A Zoom or Google Meet invitation will be emailed prior to the start date. • Circle-Singing Workshop

Circle Singing is a community singing and sounding practice, spontaneous and evolving — like a drum circle for voices. Based on practices developed by Bobby McFerrin and his collaborators, Circle Singing is a supportive, judgment-free space to play with your voice. The leader creates songs in the moment — patterns, percussive sounds, rhythms, harmonies, melodies, — and teaches the parts orally to the rest of the group. The parts layer together into completely original compositions, each song a unique creation, never sung before, never to be sung again. It's a very playful, community singing experience. All voices are welcome! Feel free to contact Jody at jjalbright58@gmail.com if you have any questions. This class will meet inside CVU.
