Immerse yourself in this hands-on class where you will learn to make your own homemade herbal medicine for yourself & your family! Ever wonder how it’s done? Well, now’s your chance to find out! It’s both fun and empowering to make your own herbal preparations.  Kelley Robie, of Horsetail Herbs, will discuss techniques for harvesting, drying & storing herbs and then cover the basics of how to prepare highly effective medicinal teas, tinctures, infused oils, and salves using common herbs. Take home your preparations for immediate use! Discover the gifts offered to us by the plants and how to use them in your daily life.

Kelley Robie

Kelley Robie, of Horsetail Herbs, is a practicing Herbalist, Certified Iridologist, and Animal Communicator with a degree in Animal Science from the University of Vermont. She provides Herbal, Nutritional, Bio-Energy Analysis and Iridology consultations for people, pets and equine companions. She teaches herbal classes in the community, teaches an Eight-Month Herbal Apprenticeship program in Milton and has her own line of animal flower essences & herbal medicinals. She sells over 250 bulk herbs, makes capsules, tinctures and herbal formulas for the community from her Milton shop and provides herbal medicine for local Vermont naturopathic doctors.
