Join us for this certified training taught by American Heart Association Basic Life Support instructors from Shelburne Rescue. **HeartsaverⓇ CPR AED Training- Night One (3 hours) 03/02 6-9pm HeartsaverⓇ CPR teaches Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), as well as relief of foreign-body obstruction (choking) for adults, children and infants. This course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who need or want an American Heart Association course completion card in CPR and AED to meet job or other requirements. Participants should check with their employer to see if certification meets the employer’s requirements. The card is valid for two years. The cost of the certification is $55 per student. Please bring a check payable to Shelburne Rescue or exact cash amount to class. Class Participation Limit -8 (Age 14+): Note: each student will get their own mannequin. If you wish to share a mannequin with a family/friend please call us to register. **HeartsaverⓇ First Aid - Night Two (3 hours) 03/09 6-9pm This course incorporates the use of CPR/AED for all ages as above. It is intended to teach the following: -First Aid basics -Medical Emergencies -Environmental Emergencies -Preventing illness and injury -Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies Class Participation Limit -8 Cost of the Certificate, valid for 2 years, for both First Aid AND CPR/AED is $55.00. If only taking the Heartsaver First Aid course, the cost is still $55.
