Interactive Photo Editing Session with Adobe Lightroom Classic and Photoshop
ARTS & CRAFTS
If you are an Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop user and know all the knobs and sliders, but would like to learn more about how to actually apply them to your own images, then join this interactive editing session at the CVU photo lab. We will use real life examples of students’ photos (every student should bring 3…5 high resolution images to the class) and see what magic can be done with Adobe’s photo editing tools. We’ll start with the basics of lens/perspective corrections and cropping as well as dust and distraction removal, then apply exposure corrections if needed. After that, we jump into color adjustments and noise reduction and finally look into adding some artistic effects. "The instructor is very knowledgeable and his presentations were well prepared. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in photo editing."

Removing Distractions, Stretching and Expanding Digital Images to Improve your Composition - ONLINE
ARTS & CRAFTS
Removing small distracting elements in your images has become state of the art in many photo editing tools. But with recent developments, adding content is also possible: Imagine you have captured a beautiful scene with your camera only to notice later that you cropped it to tightly and important elements are either cut off or do not have enough “room to breathe”. Another situation may be that the aspect ratio does not fit your beloved frame or wall space. These situations and more can be addressed with creating some extra peripheral space and filling it with content. This workshop explores different Remove or Generate tools in Photoshop to help improve your composition. Many of them are additions to more recent Photoshop releases, employing AI methods to great success. We will also look into stretching and warping methods to compensate for various shooting constraints. This is an online and interactive workshop presentation using Zoom. An email will be sent prior to the start date with information on how to join. "Bernhard is very knowledgeable in the field of photography and his online courses are both professional and filled with wonderful information. I would highly recommend any of his classes if you are into photography"- LN
