Using yarn, a small handheld loom, and a needle, learn how to make a handwoven bookmark in this step-by-step workshop. Experimenting on this small weaving will help you discover some of the little tricks and techniques needed to eventually make a large-scale wall hanging you love.
As this is a beginner class, we will just be using the tabby or plain weave technique. We will also go over a brief description of weaving terms.
Each participant will leave with one woven bookmark. A selection of yarn colors will be available to choose from. An option to borrow or purchase the loom will be available during registration; looms are $10 to purchase.
For ages 13 and older.

Wonderful music in the background contributed to a relaxing atmosphere while we basked in the calm of poking wool with special needles... creating individual works of art.""Molly is a talented and joyful human that shares her art with other generously. I felt safe to learn and excited about felting under her guidance. I would not hesitate to recommend her classes."
