"This class is an excellent introduction to how to sharpen knives and other home tools. I highly recommend it." JRB
For the past several years, I have done knife, scissor, and tool sharpening as part of the Sustainable Charlotte Repair Cafe, using knowledge and skills that I have acquired over many years as a wood carver, do-it-yourself home repairman, and gardener. In 2020 I was part of a workshop sponsored by Sustainable about sharpening and using grass scythes. In 2021 I led a one-afternoon workshop sponsored by Sustainable Charlotte on the techniques and principles of tool sharpening. I have picked up additional knowledge about sharpening from YouTube videos and courses on CDs and now I am passing them along to you at Access!
