We’ll talk about yarn, needles, other tools of the trade, gauge, and pattern reading, so you’ll have a good base of information to get you started off right! Please bring the following materials to the first class:
Yarn: 200 yards #6 Super Bulky Yarn
Knitting Needle: US 17 24-32” Circular Needle
Other Tools: Darning Needle, Stitch Marker (or scrap yarn), Scissors, Tape Measure

Krista Faxon Atkeson is an enthusiastic knitter and fiber artist. Krista enjoys knitting, crochet, punch needle rug hooking, spinning, basket making, and weaving. She has taught knitting to both adults and children for over 10 years. She has worked in multiple yarn shops in New Jersey and Vermont, and in March 2024, she was a presenter at the Must Love Yarn Retreat.
