How Much Sugar Should your Kids (and you!) be Eating? - ONLINE

NUTRITION, BEAUTY, & WELLNESS -
Fall/Winter 2024

So many aspects of childhood and family traditions are marked by sweet treats – and there’s a place for that. But what about all the other added sugars that we are eating without realizing it? Even healthy foods like granola and yogurt can be filled with added sugars, making them more like candy than a nutritious food. Come learn about the current research around brain development and sugar consumption, the link between sugar and processed food consumption and mental health, sugar’s impact on memory and learning, and practical ways you can reduce your family’s sugar intake -- and not feel deprived!

This class will meet online via Zoom. An invite will be emailed a day or two before the class starts.

Juliet Dalton

I’m Juliet, a Functional Nutrition Practitioner, and the founder of Nutrition Riot, a practice that exists to help you resolve digestive symptoms, tame inflammation, and rebalance hormones, so you can get back to doing the things you love. I firmly believe that our health starts with real, whole foods & changing our diet can have a massive impact on how we feel & show up in the world.

I work with clients to untangle their constellation of digestive, immune, hormonal & adrenal symptoms and I use functional lab testing to better understand the underlying imbalances & dysfunction at the root of the matter. I have a bio-individual (which means your body and your needs are unique) and weight-neutral (which means changing your size or shape is not my priority) approach to wholly support my clients throughout the process.
