Yolima is a passionate, self-taught dancer who fell in love with belly dance after years of practicing. Just a few classes into her first course, her teacher began treating her like a fellow performer, and by the 8th session, she performed professionally. A spontaneous performance on the Nile rekindled her desire to go deeper into the art, leading to 9 months of focused training. Now, after years of being asked, “Do you teach?” she finally is. This beginner class is her way of sharing the joy, movement, and magic that dance has brought into her life.
