This 10-session class is designed for people that have taken at least one bowl turning class and feel comfortable in a woodworking shop and using a lathe. Small class size allows you to work independently with a lathe just for you! Eddie will supervise and is able to guide novice wood bowl turners. Blanks will be available to purchase ($10 each), or BYO wood blanks.

After organizing wood bowl turning classes as director of the Access program, I could not resist taking the class myself. Of all the hands on learning I have enjoyed over the years, turning green wood has become my #1 passion. I love turning green wood bowls. Each piece of wood is alive with smells, twists and turns, and tactile surprises. Still a hobby in my retirement, I do enjoy sharing my love of turning. Although most of my bowls are given as presents to family and friends, once a year I do sell my bowls at the November ACCESSCVU Craft Fair. Come by and say hello. -Eddie
