If you have completed the Diamond series, and feel ready to learn more then this Hearts series is for you! Phil Sharpsteen will take you through this series with ease, and you will enjoy connecting with other bridge enthusiasts for an evening of fun card playing. Deepen your knowledge of this multifaceted card game and learn the importance of communication and how to make decisions when you are the defender. This American version of Mah Jongg will start with a simplified game where players, pick up, discard and trade tiles to form an easy winning hand. Over the course of 4 weeks, we'll slowly add more tiles, increase the complexity of the winning hands (using National Mah Jongg League cards) and will talk about defense and sleuthing. Mah Jongg players enjoy bluffing, learn flexibility, and generally have a lot of fun. If you like card games, you'll probably love Mah Jongg. This class will meet inside CVU.
