Gentle Evening Yoga with Ellen
This gentle yoga class is a meditative, fluid, and soothing class suitable for all levels. Students will experience slow movements to warm the body and release stress and muscular tension, breathing techniques to support the nervous system, and simple postures to help build strength and stability. Suitable for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike.Bring your mat and water bottle, as well as blocks and strap (towel) if needed. We will have some yoga mats and blocks available to borrow. This class will meet inside CVU.

Pottery with Supervision- 12 weeks, PLUS Open Studio!
This is open to those who have previously taken pottery at Access, or for those who are experienced potters and want access to a pottery studio. With access to the CVU pottery studio, you will have dedicated time, storage, and supplies to work independently on throwing or slab projects. A supervisor will be on hand to help field questions, introduce you to the studio, review processes, communicate requests, and run the kiln. Only 10 spots available!In this judgement-free environment, students will be encouraged to connect with fellow potters to continue to learn new techniques while expanding on your independent pottery practice. Each student will each receive one 25lb bag of stoneware, mid-fire clay, cone 6, access to all stocked glazes, dipping, and tools to use during class. NOTE: Only studio glazes and clay will be allowed. All clay, glazes, use of the studio, tools, as well as firing costs are included in the fee.BONUS: Free access to "Open Studio" is on Monday evenings 5pm-8pm starting 9/23-12/16. Wheel usage is on a first come basis. Wear comfortable clothing, prepared to get messy, and have a whole lotta fun!

Join Kelley Robie, from Horsetail Herbs, as we dive into the world of healthy skin & hair care! In this class we will be making a Solid Shampoo Bar and Conditioner Bar for soft and silky locks. For the skin, we will be making an Anti-Aging Lotion with popular vitamins and minerals and a Soothing Face Wash for all skin types. We will discuss the skin microbiome, safe, clean ingredients, and the importance of sustainable packaging. Leave with recipes, products and gift making ideas! This class will meet inside CVU.

Therapeutic Massage Techniques for Managing Stress & Postural Work Habits
NUTRITION, BEAUTY, & WELLNESS
Have you always wanted to know how to best give a therapeutic massage to help someone reduce the effects of stress and common postural work habits? Join Kirsten, a certified massage therapist, to better understand the common causes and massage remedies to help manage symptoms of both the upper and lower extremities With hands-on practice and learned practical techniques you will begin to ease the tension in those areas using acupressure and traditional massage therapy. The first evening will focus on techniques for managing headaches, neck aches, weakness and numbness in the upper extremities. The second evening will focus on lower back, knees and wrists. You will receive both digital and paper handouts as well as a video to help you practice at home.
