Zumba with Dillon!
Zumba takes the "work" out of workout by bringing a dance party to your fitness routine. High and low-intensity calorie-burning moves that focus on cardio, muscle toning and balance will be a focus. Expect a blend of Latin, hip-hop and African rhythms that guarantee tons of fun. Stylistic and fitness variations make this class accessible for participants of all abilities and ages. No dance experience is necessary. See you on the dance floor! Water bottle, small towel, comfortable clothing, and shoes. -
Intro to Yang Tai Chi
Join us for an introduction to the art and practice of the style of Tai Chi Chuan made famous by the Yang family. Strengthen the core, and improve balance and presence of mind. We will focus on the second half of the long form in ten sessions, and then again in four additional sessions. All levels of experience are welcomed! This class will meet inside CVU. -
Kundalini Yoga: The Yoga of Radiance
This ancient and energetic yoga is appropriate for all levels. Using the tools of breath, movement and mantra, Kundalini encourages a friendly relationship with the mind. Through this practice you will quickly experience positive changes in your body and spirit. Bring a yoga mat, water, and something to sit on. Open to all levels. Age 13 and older. This class will meet inside CVU. Please check in at the entrance of CVU prior to the first day of class. -
Happy Thursday Yoga Flow
Energize the end of the week with a vinyasa flow yoga class with Shelley filled with a focus on breath, movement, and calming rest. Music and yogic themes will be offered during the class. Some yoga experience helpful, yet not necessary. Bring comfortable clothing, water bottle, and a mat, along with an open mind, growth mindset, a smile, and some humor. This class will meet inside CVU. -
Yoga Thursday with Ellen!
Join Ellen Talbert for a gentle yoga class that focuses on integrating breath with movement, building strength, flexibility and balance. Bring your mat and water bottle, as well as blocks and strap (towel) if needed. We will have some yoga mats available to borrow. Open to all levels. This class will meet inside CVU. -

Strength & Cardio Training
Intervals of body-weight exercises, high intensity cardio, and yoga-style recovery in an hour of fun fitness! No experience needed, but understanding your fitness goals and limitations is important. Many moves can be modified to meet your comfort level. Weight machines and freeweights will be available for those seeking more challenge. Wear clothes to move in, and bring a water bottle. This class will meet inside CVU. -
Monday Asana Yoga with Heather
Join Heather for a weekly 1 hour class of Asana (movement practice, Vinyasa based), to move, breathe, and rest. Each week you will focus on one of the 8 limbs of Yoga as our guide in movement and breath. This class is designed for everyone whether this is your first asana class, or your an experienced practitioner. You could count this class as your workout for the day, or your wind down, or time to simply be in your own body. Each class will start with a bite-sized introduction to one of the 8 limbs of Yoga, and then Heather will guide you through class by anchoring your movement in that limb. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat and any props you enjoy. We'll also have some mats available to borrow. This class will meet inside CVU. -
East Coast Swing Dancing for Beginners Continued...
David Allan has been teaching swing dance for over 15 years! He has taught at Middlebury and St Michael's colleges, the Waldorf schools and many townhalls throughout VT. You will learn the fundamentals of leading and following which include correct body posturing, connection and foot work. This class is a continuation of the Access class, East Coast Swing Dancing for Beginners, but also welcomes new beginners*! *New beginners should arrive 30 min earlier than the start of class for the first couple of sessions to learn the basic principals of East Coast Swing. We will be regularly rotating among all class members, so no partner is needed. Couples are welcome, but you will be rotating with all the other students for a better and more enjoyable dancing experience. Couples will have a chance to practice together towards the end of each class. Sign-up as a couple and save $10 at registration! Please wear any flat sole shoe. A leather sole or tennis shoes are good options. No experience necessary, and all ages high school and older are welcomed! Check-in at the main entrance before the start of the first class.
