Make Your Own Boutonnieres and Corsages - OUTSIDE
In the workshop we will explore how to create works of art to be worn. Whether for a formal dance, wedding, anniversary, etc., learn how to make floral pieces to be worn on lapels, wrists and more. We will learn wiring and taping techniques, design, and floral care along with floral names, and if time permits how to use glue with flowers, yes….glue! Participants will leave with their creations and gain skills to create their own boutonnieres or corsages in the future. All supplies will be provided, including flowers, wire, ribbon, glue, and bracelet forms.
Open to all ages and experience levels; anyone under 14 should be accompanied by an adult.
Participants should wear an apron if possible, bring by-pass shears if they have them, and gloves if they wish.
This class will meet outside on the CVU grounds. Please wear a mask to checkin at the Welcome Desk at the front of the CVU main entrance 10 minutes before the start of class to go thru COVID screening.
