Ryan Strobel has been a potter for the past 20 years. His early ceramics education included a focus on wood-fired pottery, which he learned during an 1-year apprenticeship at Mill Creek Pottery in Wisconsin. While living in New York City, Ryan first taught ceramics at Greenwich House Pottery in Greenwich Village, where he taught adult wheel classes. As a ceramic artist, his work has been focused primarily on the wheel, but he has also worked in sculpture and mold-making. He is currently a full-time high school ceramics teacher.
