Macrame Wall Hanging

Macrame is a form of textile-making that uses knotting rather than weaving or knitting. Learn all the steps and various knots to make a beautiful wall hanging using cotton rope and a wooden dowel. Receive a knot guide to take home to practice on your own. This class is suitable for ages 12 and older. All materials included in the fee.
This class will meet inside CVU. Please wear a mask and check-in at the main entrance before the start of class.
A lifelong crafter of all sorts, Anne discovered embroidery in 2012 while living as an expat in France. Anne is passionate about teaching and learning the latest techniques and methods of embroidery. Anne is excited to teach crafting as well as embroidery at CVU Access. As the former owner of Wiggle Room in Hinesburg, she enjoyed sharing her love of craft projects and fostering the creative process in children of all ages. Paper, glue, paint, scissors, fabric, yarn, felt, markers, re-purposed/recycled materials, and the list goes on for possibilities for projects.
Anne strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment for her classes. Anne lives in Hinesburg raising her three boys.
