Raptors, birds that take live prey, have fascinated humans for millennia. They show up in ancient mythology and art, poetry, music, and modern fiction. Learn about Vermont’s hawks, owls and falcons: how they live, what they eat, how to identify them. 

Birders and photographers from all over Vermont have generously contributed truly gorgeous portraits of for this program.

This class will meet online. You will receive an email prior to the start of your class with information on how to participate.

Maeve Kim

Maeve watches birds, writes about birds, travels to go birding, teaches about birds, leads bird walks, and even dreams birds! She’s the author of several articles as well as two novels.
