Dunia Partilo, our Spanish native Instructor, is offering this practical course for anyone looking to visit a Spanish speaking country weather on business or pleasure. This course is just what you need to feel comfortable and confident in speaking Spanish without having to ask, "Do you speak English?"
You will learn how to introduce yourself and make small talk, as well as discuss the weather, time, ask for directions, food and restaurant conversation, family and friends, likes and dislikes, feelings, culture, and much more in these fun and informative 12 classes. You will also learn how to correctly pronounce Spanish phrases and words.
No prior experience needed with Spanish. You only need a notebook and excitement to learn!
All materials and handouts will be sent via email. You will receive a Zoom invitation from the instructor prior to the start of class.
Dunia Partilo
Dunia Partilo was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. A place that is still very close to her heart. She moved to Vermont 18 years ago and raised her family here with her husband. She has two children, a dog and a bird.
Dunia is a bilingual school Psychologist and holds a Vermont educator license. She has taught Spanish in the past to adults and children in Spain as well as in the US. She is also a Spanish translator and interpreter for the community.
Dunia is passionate about sharing her native language and Spanish culture to Vermonters.
